Well I finally got my jacket in the mail and now I can't stop wearing it! Lucky for me its been freezing lately so i've had plenty of opportunities to wear it. I've also added a few other things to my wardrobe that I'm currently obsessing over.

Waiting on the world to change...
Okay well it may not be the world I'm waiting on but have you ever just been sick and tired and waiting? I know I have! So I've compiled a list of the top 10 things I hate waiting for.
I HATE...
10. Waiting for...my magazine subscriptions to come in the mail. I get them a couple of weeks early but I still find myself thinking after I just received one in the mail and finished it all within the hour "I wonder when the next one will be here?" Does anyone else think that as well? That is one reason why I hate waiting.
9. Waiting to... get a test back. You know when you think you do really good on a test but you're not sure if the tescher will agree so your hoping and praying that you'll get the test back soon so you can check. Or the other way around you take a test and think you did horrific bad but there's that chance prayer that you may not have failed so your waiting to see what your grades going to be. Yeah, I hate that. I just want to know!
8. Waiting to...go on vacation. I love any chance I can to get out of town and go on vacay. So whenever my family tells me we are going on vacation I start planning what we're going to do down to the outfits I will wear when we do it (who am I kidding my outfits are the first thing I think about). But then I hear that we're not leaving for another two weeks. Why do that to me? I always tell them to tell me two a day before we leave, just because I don't like waiting.
7. Waiting for...Fashion Week in New York. The best thing to happen since sliced bread skinnies came back into style and I have to wait for it to come every year. Why? I mean I know that designers need time to prepare their clothes but the waiting is torture!
6. Waiting at...restaurants. Not the waiters and waitresses because I have yet to have truly sucky service. But I mean waiting for people to show up at restaurants. I went out to eat the other night for a friends birthday and we waited probably 30 minutes for one of his friends to show up before we ordered. I nearly chewed my hand off I was so hungry!
5. Waiting for...next weeks shows to come on. I am obsessed with Gossip Girl and all the other CW shows (to see what shows I tune in to click here) but when they show next week's shows I already want to see them, and then I have to wait forever a whole week to see them!
4. Waiting for...payday. In the words of Rachel Zoe, I only work to support my shopping habit so waiting to get that paycheck
3. Waiting for...the weekend. I sometimes like school but there is nothing like the weekend. Having nothing to do is the best feeling in the world, but waiting all week 5 days to get there just sometimes doesn't seem worth it.
2. Waiting for...movies to come out. You just saw the preview for the best movie but its not coming out for another year. I hate that! My bestie and I are waiting for HSM3 to come out so we can go see it(yes I know that's lame but I love Zanessa) and the waiting is torture.
1. And lastly waiting for...online clothes. I just ordered a jacket online and I have to wait 3-5 business days. It sucks!
So what do you think? Do you hate these things too? I guess all of these things really have a happy ending so I should just wait and be thankful huh?

I finally got it!!!!
So the day finally came! My plan with Sprint ended and I got the new Sidekick! I love it and in fact I am writing my post from my phone.
So in honor of my new phone I'm going to do something different. I'm going to show a week's worth of outfits that I wore and what inspired me to wear them.
First:
Now, before I begin telling about this outfit let me explain. I went through this phase where I was obsessed with boots, like deeply obsessed, so now I have tons of pairs of boots that I never wear (I mean why should I when I live in Florida). But on this particular morning I woke up and it was raining so I thought I can finally wear my boots! So I threw on these black ones and everything else just fell into place. place.
Another funny story, I was at JcPenney the other day and I saw this skirt and at first I thought it was cute but then I saw the price tag it was $2.00! I grabbed it up and raced to the register and now I wear it all the time. It especially looks cute when worn as a high waisted bubble skirt with a vintage t-shirt. Looking back on this outfit I'm not sure if I love it but it's okay.
This outfit I had to get two shots because I wanted to show the cuteness of the shoes, they're black booties! I saw them and immediately loved them. I wear them all the time to work (not really to school though because heels on my campus is not realistic). I also love the dress it's a sweater dress and really comfortable.
This picture is kind of funny because actually the pants are blue jeans and the vest is supposed to be black but the picture makes them look backwards. I also had a scarf around my neck (which I stole borrowed from my mom) because I woke up and it was FREEZING! But then it warmed up to the 70's. I also showed my hair for this picture because I loved how it looked that day (the pic doesn't really show how cute it was). I cut my hair right before the fall semester and I'm still trying to get used to it so when I have a good hair style I get really excited. I mean it looks good down but not really up.
It's still a little too warm to be wearing this coat but it's really cute, it's like a plaid fabric and it fits really well and again I'm wearing my favorite booties. I really don't like this picture because I feel like I look like a fat cow. And I'm usually not one of those girls who complains about her weight just so others will say she looks good but in this instance I really think I look fat.
I wore this outfit to work this week and I usually don't dress up much for work because I'm just a secretary but every now and then I like to dress the part. I really like this purse, it's a Kathy Von Zeeland that my aunt bought for me and I have definitely overworn it.
So what do you think? Do you like the outfits, is there something you would do differently? Let me know!
So hard to say goodbye,

Why do these things always happen to me????
This semester as a way to save money I decided to buy my college textbook online (it was about $50 cheaper) but i opened it last night to read the next chapter (which we have a quiz on today)and it tells me that i need to update the system but when i go to the update page and push update it just keeps opening a new update page!!! It's so frustrating I want to throw my computer against the wall, so i just filed a customer service report (which will take years days but it still means i'm going to flunk this quiz, argh :( Anyway, I just needed a moment to vent (moment) okay, moving on.
So I read recently that Channing Tatum (sigh) proposed to Jenna Dewan last week (his costar from Step Up), and although I'm sad because I always secretly dreamed that he'd marry me one day I'm happy for them. But it got me wondering about marriage, particularly mine. Right now I'm single, in fact there really is no one in my life that I would even consider dating. It's really sad I have tons of boy guy friends (but you know how that goes) I would never date them. I'm sure it's probably for the best though because in order for me to even consider marriage they have to be able to support my fashion addictions haha!!
Now on to happier topics! Although I dread the fall becuase of the return of school there is a bright side (isn't there always). With the fall semester comes the start of new fall shows. I love TV series' especially ones about high school and college. And the fall lineups seems to be filled with them. Here is a look at what I'll be taping this fall:
Monday:
9 pm- One Tree Hill (I've faithfully watched this show since the first episode and it gets better every season, if you haven't seen it you really should jump on the bandwagon)
10pm-The Hills (Another show I've watched since the beginning and seriously that is just way too much drama to be someone's
Tuesday
Also at 8 is 90210 on the CW so I usually watch one and tape the other or tape both in different rooms.
9 pm-Greek
Also at 9 Privileged- it seems really cheesy but i might watch to see how it progresses
10pm-The Rachel Zoe Project!!!!
This is what I have so far but I'll let you know if I pick up any others. What do you watch? If you have any suggestions let me know!
So hard to say

Rachel Zoe + Marc Jacobs=Flutterbygirl's Happiness
So...did anyone see the first episode of The Rachel Zoe Project. Well, I did and I loved it! I mean how fun would it be to get paid tons of money to shop for other people?! And she's so funny! I love the way she says "I die!" every time she sees something she loves. And her assistants are hilarious. Brad is so quirky and he dresses amazing, I seriously want that white Ralph Lauren sweater he wore on the first episode. And Taylor is the polar opposite of Brad but she's got amazing style too, and of course it goes without saying that I want every outfit that Rachel wears. If you haven't seen the first episode keep checking Bravo it comes on all the time and tune in on Tuesdays at 10 to see the new ones!
Now on to Marc Jacobs. His shows were, of course, amazing but I have to say I enjoyed the Marc by Marc Jacobs show a little more than the Marc Jacobs one. I guess because it is geared more toward the younger crowd.I wonder when I will make the change and start seeing more mature clothes as more fashionable? ...Oh sorry, I digress. Anyway, he always manages to do something fun and entertaining yet still make it fashionable. Here are some of my fav's from the event
Well I guess I should get back to work.
So hard to say goodbye,

These are a few of my favorite things...
Maybe its just because I've just started this blog but I find myself spending unreasonable amounts of my day thinking of what I'm going to put on here. It seems that whenever something happens to me my first or second thought is this will be great for my blog, how funny is that?
2. Favorite Actor: This may sound weird and I'm not exactly sure if he's my favorite but I really like...Adam Brody. I think he is hilarious and I loved him in The O.C. (of course it didn't hurt that he dated Rachel Bilson). I think the thing I like most about him is how quirky he is, he made being geeky cool and that's why I
4. Favorite Fashion Trend: Once again, this was really hard to choose. It's like telling a mom to choose her favorite child! But I guess if I had to choose it would be...mini dresses! I love them! Since I'm only
6. Favorite guy singer: I actually have three favorite guy singers and they go by the name...Jonas Brothers. You may be laughing right now saying why is this college age girl's favorite group the Jonas Brothers? But let me explain, first of all I like them because I love their energy. Every song they have is so upbeat that I can't help but love it. And second they have great style. Who doesn't love a guy that takes risks? And they are definitely known for their risk taking. Just look at the pics and see. The Jonas Brothers are going to get big fast just wait and see.
9. Favorite Magazine: SEVENTEEN!!! I am completely in love with this magazine. Every month they get better and better. I'm
(I got all of these pictures from google image search)
